Team Pink: What are you naming your girl?

DH doesn't want to settle with a name yet.....we both really like Leah but he says he doesn't want to make his mind up and then hear a "fabulous" name that we "should have used instead". Understandable, but I want a name for this kid already! Just need some new ideas besides the tediously long lists of baby girl names I find on the web. Thanks!

    From my experience, no one has really liked the name we picked lol, guess its a good thing its our kid not theirs. Her name will be Ashton Ruth. (Ruth is my great grandmothers name.) DH wanted to use name Alyson but we already know a few Alysons and then he suggested Ashley but we know ever more Ashleys...Thus we settled on Ashton which is kind of a cross. We love it!

    We are naming our little girl after my DH's deceased aunt and then my middle name which was passed down since my great great grandmother but it common :)

    We are naming our LO Ciara Joann  Ciara is Gaelic and pronounced Keira (like Knightly) and Joann was my mom's younger sister who passed away 6 years ago.

    We are naming our daughter Clara Ann. Clara was both of our great-grandmother's names. Ann sounded good for a mn, but it's also MIL's name and close to my first name as well.

    Lilith Autumn Bryce.....yes 2 middle names.  We just couldn't decide so we're going with both.

     Leah is pretty too!  It was on our list.

    Thanks, ladies! I really do love the name Leah. If we go with Leah it will be Leah Faith. I am also trying to convince DH that the shorter the name, the less it will cost to have it embroidered on everything!

    BTW, love all of your girl names, too precious! And I love the fact that a lot of them are family names.

    Can't you guys just say it's Leah but that you'll have an open mind if one of you hears something.  I mean, you don't have to make it "official" until it's on the birth certificate...

    I love the name Leah. DH didn't want that name. We couldn't agree on a girl's name at all. The baby was Hailey for about two months, until I wanted something more classic. The baby's name is now Emily Claire, I don't love it as much as DD1's name, but it's growing on me.

    Aw thanks! and by the way OP I love the name Leah! Of course it is my big sisters name and she is awesome and beautiful so why wouldnt I love it? :)

     Honestly, it was the only name we could both agree on. I also really like Roslyn, Gemma, and Sidney.

    We're naming her Ameliana Lokelani. Both have family meaning and represent DH's heritage (MIL is Portuguese Hawaiian, fn is Portuguese,mn is Hawaiian).

    DH and I haven't officially agreed on a name yet.  He really loves the name Madison Lee...and Madison is just too trendy for me.

    I can't decide on what I like.  I sort of gave up when he started calling the baby Madison.  My FIL told me the other day that all of his friends are already starting to call her Madison, and FIL refers to her as Madison as well.  Not only is it too trendy for me, but we had a dog named Maddie (which would be LO's nickname)...and our dog died.  So...to me, it'd be like we sort of named her after the dog. 

    I asked him if he would please come up with a list of names instead of just saying, "Nope, it's going to be Madison." 

    I like names that are not-so-uncommon, but common enough that it won't be hard to spell or pronounce.

    Everyone is so shocked that we don't officially have a name picked with how far along I am, but I keep telling them, "I'd rather wait to actually meet her and name her what feels right."  Ugh.  This is one thing I am seriously dreading when she is born...it's going to be hard to come to an agreement.

    We are having twin girls and naming them Lily Sophia and Hannah Violet.  We went the sentimental route and are naming them after deceased family members (Lily is after my grandfather Lionel, Sophia after my great grandmother Sara, and Violet is after my grandmother Violet).  Hannah, was just a name we loved!

    kathleen rachel..

    kathleen was my mil name so named after her grandmother  and rachel has been a name used on my moms side for what will be 5th generation ( midlle name for me, mom, grandmother, and 1st name of great grandmother)

    We always do two middle names, its tradition on my side. Elizabeth is a name that has been used for generations, its my mn, my mom's mn, grandma's fn, her mom's fn and her mom's fn. Dawne is my MIL's mn and she has an uncle Don that is always helping everyone out.

    Our baby girl will be named Ayiana Chantelle Rose

    Ayiana because DH is part Ojibwa, he was just looking for a name out of curiosity and came across it, and we loved it, I love that it's very unique, I have never heard it before.

    Chantelle is MIL's name, and Rose is my second middle name as well as my grandmothers and great grandmothers.

    Our LO's name will be Kenzie Kaye.  Kaye is my mother's middle name.  DH and I both loved Kenzie from the start.
