Arrested Development. Not only was it funny and entertaining on the surface but if you really followed it there were so many on-going jokes and subtle references to previous episodes. Will Arnett's chicken dance has become a staple in our house.

This is funny
but this made me pee myself

The Office- there has only been a handful of episodes I didn't love and I cried watching Jim and Pam's wedding (and I'm sooooo not a crier!!)
Lost- in the beginning it was brilliant, I think the writers didn't expect it to be on as long as it was, so they lost the storyline. It was still good though.
Breaking Bad- Great/believable/compelling plot that keeps me on the edge of my seat, the actors are excellent.
And my shameful, guilty pleasure: Full House- I can still watch every episode, even though I know every plot and line. I love that show.
I'm sure there are others, this is all that comes to mind right now. Oh, Modern Family is slowly making it's way on to my list. That show is pretty good!
Pushing Daisies-So many bright colors combined with super morbid plot.
I didn't know anyone else watched Pushing Daisies... so good!
And I'm gonna have to cast my vote for CSI: Miami because a) every good CSI looks and dresses like a super model, b) Miami is no joke, biitch!, and c) David Caruso is always good for a laugh.

I LOVE Arrested Development! And all of the different chicken dances! Cha chi cha chi cha chi cha! Also obsessed with The Office, Community and Dexter. Dexter keeps me so tense!

So glad someone brought this up! Exactly.
Venture Brothers
Big Bang Theory
TV shows that are over that I miss dearly (and still rewatch episodes):
Some oldies I like are Roseanne (just the early episodes, can't stand the later ones), Cheers, wife swap, supernanny, mash, sopranos, sex and the city, gilmore girls, ER
ETA: I never heard of Spaced, but love Simon Pegg, so I'll have to check that one out. I wonder if Netflix has it.
DD #1 passed away in January 2011 at 14 days old due to congenital heart disease
DD#2 lost in January 2012 at 23 weeks due to anhydramnios caused by a placental abruption
Off the air: Gilmore Girls, because there were so many incredibly funny and interesting characters without ever feeling "crowded" with too many people's storylines.
On the air: True Blood, just because it is campy and fun.
NCIS: I feel like people who don't watch this think it's just another crime drama, but it is so not. The characters are so funny and complex in the ways they deal with each other. They're super entertaining to watch no matter who killed whom this hour.
Modern Family - Funniest show on TV right now, hands down.
I will age myself, but I guess my age is not a secret anymore...
Cheers- (I personally think it needs no explanation) but the writing was fabulous, the cast even better. It was America's most loved cast. We all just wanted to be in that bar!
Re: Best tv show (off-the-air or still running)

I have to throw in my vote for Firefly. Amazing story and amazing characters. You loved them from the first show.
Gilmore Girls because Emily Gilmore is my mother in a nutshell.
Shows that I love every episode of:
the unit
The Office
Stargate SG-1
Grey's Anatomy
actually this list could never end.
Currently running:
Weeds- Written just right, with plenty of perversion and plot twists.
Castle- Because I LOVE Nathan Fillion.
Chuck- Cheesy in the best way possible.
Off-air:
Dead Like Me- Great writing and characters
Eli Stone- Great legal drama with plenty of non-denominational inspiration and musical numbers!
Count me in on the Arrested Development AND Firefly love. I'd add Angel to that as well.
Right now I'm on a Mad Men kick - but Breaking Bad has to be one of the best dramas on television. Bryan Cranston is the bomb.
My Blog

On Air:
The Office: DH and I have all the seasons and watch it over and over
Dexter: Just finished season four and trying to convince DH to get me cable to watch season 5
30Rock: So funny

I love Red Dwarf seasons 1-6. 7 was OK, and season 8 and the mini-series from last year were terrible. I really love the books too.
Dexter. Hands down best show ever.
Dead Like Me. I was very sad when this got canceled.
Modern Family.

My all time favorite, hands down, has to be "the Simpsons"
I also like M*A*S*H, Hogan's Hero's, Stargate Atlantis and SG-1, and Gilligan's Island.
