Guys, I'm really concerned.

For my own sanity.

 

I just ironed.

 

IRONED. Wait, it gets better.

 

What did I iron? A tablecloth, FFS. 

 

The apocalypse is nigh.

    Why would you iron a tablecloth? haha isn't that what a dryer is for?

    I have ironed table cloths... Usually becuase my parents are coming over and my mom is kind of a perfectionist.

    Ha!  I am concerned...very concerned. 

    We're getting our house ready to put on the market & I bought linen napkins & napkin rings along with tons of other sprucing up stuff. I felt a bit out of my element with all the Martha Stewartness.

    I'm using one to attempt to strong-arm fall into existence. Also, we have a really nice dining room table (gracias, craigslist), which of course never gets seen in its niceness, due to tablecloth coverage.

    I have done that and my dh looks at me like I'm crazy. I usually do it before we have people over.

    Oh my dear Colinda.  You need help.  However I think we are in the same boat.  I got on my hands and knees with a scrub brush and a bunch of bleach and cleaned the hell out of my kitchen floor for well over an hour.  Then I spent 4 more hours going through the pantry, the fridge, the freezer, each cabinet and totally cleaned things inside and out.  I am just preparing for your visit, since I know your coming to see me soon.

    A guy I was dating in high school, his mother ironed his underwear.  And jeans.  Yeah...

    Boy howdy I hope it works! It didn't hit triple digits today so it must be doing something.

    The only tablecloth in this house is a plastic one for our Halloween dinner.  I think it came from Dollar Tree.

    sweet. domestic-colinda is in the house.

    If I listened to my mother, I would iron my tablecloths (which only get use at holidays b/c I like the bare table the rest of the year -- plus the table is piled with crap - sewing, mail, laundry, who knows what else . . .) and then hang them in a closet. whatever. they stay in a frumpled pile until holiday!

    m/c#1 07/16/08 (11 weeks), m/c#2 10/10/08 (8 weeks). and then nothing since except every test possible (no answers). IUI#1 and #2: BFNs Super lucky to be buddies with Peetie. Our out of nowhere, surprise DD born 5/29/2011

    I don't iron.  Dry cleaners, dude.  Dry cleaners.
