Pregnant after a Loss

How to tell position of the baby?

I feel like the baby flopped sides yesterday - I felt a pretty big movement and then hands and feet on each side of my belly.... and now I'm feeling hiccups WAY up high (with arms or feet still on the sides).

Am I just going crazy or could the baby have turned breech?  It didn't hurt during the big movement -was just uncomfortable.  I'm mostly concerned about where I'm feeling the hiccups compared to where I had been feeling them.

  • Could be!  It would make sense since you're feeling hiccups up high.  Were you feeling them super low before?  I can always tell where LO is because of where he kicks and now that he's bigger I can feel his back and butt along my side and  up under my ribs.  So comfy! :)  And I always feel hiccups down low.

I guess it's possible.  I asked my doctor if this was likely after she was finally head down, and he said no.  But he didn't say it was impossible.  I always feel hiccups, or just smaller movements, down low, so I know what you mean.  Do you have another u/s coming up?

  • Baby probably moved and you pinpointed it. I predict every ultrasound where he is because I can tell when he's up to something. I have scans every 2 weeks and every time I have been right. He flips breech to head down every single time.

  • dd was breech and i could feel her head under my right ribs from 32 weeks on.  she never moved.  this one is in the same position, but the head is just below my ribs.  i'm doubting that they will move since dd never did.  i can def feel all sorts of kicks and jabs and pokes down toward my pubic bone when i bend forward and scrunch them up.  lol
