Isnt the second one supposed to be easy

in 3rd Trimester

I am 38 weeks and i have had so much pain and different problems with this baby and only at 2cm. Back to the doctors monday. i though the second one was easier. (maybe it is true boys are harder) lol

    Every pregnancy is different. A lot of people have perfect first pregnancies and terrible second ones, and vice versa.

    Yup.

    My first pg was MUCH easier than my second -- though my 2nd delivery was easier than the first.

    I think there is come truth to that, considering my first was a boy, and the pregnancy was horrible!

    Well for me, the second one has been not so much fun. My first pregnancy was super easy, no m/s, I was able to sleep..'picture perfect' pregnancy. Now this one..every single thing that you hear about experiencing during pregnancy I have had. I am 40 weeks on Monday, and haven't started to dialate even a little bit. I am so ready to be done!!

    Neither of my pregnancies have been easy, but the 2nd one has been worse than the 1st. I'm hopeful for a better delivery though, at least I hear that is supposed to be better :)

    I thought the 2nd was supposed to be easier too. By far its been much worse than the 1st and I am having a boy this time around. But with this one I've been to L&D 6 times for really strong contractions which they've had to stop with meds and bedrest. Also I've had infections with this pregnancy. And awful m/s through out all the trimesters. I'm ready for it to be over.

    i get you on that one my daughter was so easy and now with my son i have alot of problems. i am ready for him to be out!!

    I'm on my second and I'd say it's harder. But the main reason it's harder is because you're constantly chasing after your 1st which is exhausting. You have little time for yourself. Plus, "the magic of it all" being pregnant just isn't there. Also, it doesn't help having everyone tell you that you're going to deliver early because it's your second and then to be nearly 41 weeks pregnant and heading into an induction. Ugh. I am over this pregnancy. It's been too long and the summer was too hot. I don't know if mine is a boy if a girl, but it's definitely more challenging than the first.
