Babies born at 34 weeks 3 days

Our girls arrived via c-section yesterday at 34 weeks 3 days. Ava weighed 3 lbs and 10 ozs and was 17 inches long and Olivia weighed 2 lbs and 12 oz. and was 16 inches long. They came out screaming and crying and kicking the doctor!

So far Olivia, the one we had the most concern about (b/c of some blood flow issues in the womb) is doing great! She has had no problems so far and is already taking a bottle every 3 hours. Taking an ounce at a time. She is a fighter and doing so well!

Ava has had a few problems, yesterday she was struggling to breath on her own so they put a tube down her and gave her oxygen. Today she is breathing fine on her own and the tube is off. She is jaundice so they are working on her with that and the light. She was eating a bottle every 3 hours as well but now has developed some acid and was just too tired to take bottle so they put a feeding tube in but are also giving her pacificer at some time to hopefully reintroduce her to the idea of food and sucking.

Anyways, just keep praying for us ladies. My DH got to hold them right after they were born but noone else has since. We want these babies completely well and want to bring them home! The doc said it will probably be 3 weeks before they come home.
