Ah! I feel like all of a sudden there's a ton to get done!
I have to:
Clean my breast pump
Wash baby clothes and bedding
Shop for 0-3 clothes since I already have a ton of NB
Get a cover for the carseat since it will be freezing here when baby comes!
Buy bottles/nooks
Yikes! I think I'll get started this weekend!
Re: What do you ladies have left to do for baby?
Everything
.
All I have so far is a Moby Wrap, 1 PJ and the Crib (in the box not put together and no mattres yet) But its all good and I am not freaking out or anything we had planned on not to start buying things till October anyhow, the crib was a gift from my parents otherwise we wouldnt have that either. Starting this month we will be getting 1 big ticket item per paycheck and little things like clothes we wont buy until after the shower so at the beginning of November.
We still have tons:
Find daycare
paint nursery
buy & set up nursery furniture
find a pediatrician
After my shower, we'll have to buy all remaining necessities.
Oh please...don't rub it in loves!! lol
I have pretty much EVERYTHING left to do.... oh well, somehow some way it'll get done and if not..then oh well we'll make it work.
I have to finish the nursery
buy what's left on registery
find pediatrician
hospital tour
Get carseat (a friend is supposed to buy it?)
This is me. Except waiting on a him
.
I did buy fabric yesterday to make a quilt that I will most likely start on tonight. Shouldnt take me to long to put it together.
You are my hero!
It helped that I had my shower early. I could still pick up little things but really it's all done. And I'll have a lot of hand-me-downs from my sister's little girl.
Its not as glamorous as it sounds.. now I'm bored and going stir crazy. And I keep dreaming up little DIY things that I'll probably NEVER do.
Wash clothes and bedding.
Fix stitching on my book slings.
Buy whatever is still needed after shower on October 9th.
Thats all I can think of...
I'm not making this list until after our shower.
In terms of bare essentials, though, we're ready. Crib, changing table, stock of diapers, some clothes and other basics are all on hand. The big thing is we need to get the car seat installed (car seat was purchased by my mom, but she's waiting for the shower). But I'm feeling much more zen, should he come early.

I am really behind. It sucks to because at the beginning I was doing great on keep up with everything but with 3 other kids and all I just haven't had much time. I feel really bad that I am so behind because with all my other babies I was always ahead and being told to slow down.
For baby?
-Install car seat
-Wash diaper covers and cloth wipes
-Buy snappis and hanging wetbags for the nursery
-Buy a drying rack for covers and a no slip mat for the rug in the nursery
Misc. before baby comes?
-Make and store freezer meals for post partum
-Buy pads
-Buy nursing tanks, lounge pants, and zip-up hoodies for my post partum wardrobe
-thank you notes
I'm sure I'll think of more over the next two months. ... Hopefully. Must stay busy!
