Hawaii Babies
I have been dying to share...
that my sister who lives in Hawaii is pregnant with TRIPLETS! That's right, you heard correctly! One.Two.Three
Someone outed her on FB so she felt like she had to make a post so now I can share!
Backround: She has had 3-4 miscarriages in the past and now has a little boy who is not even two. She was using eastern medicine (acupuncture, cupping, strict strange diet) and taking Clomid (fertility drug) and got pregnant with little Owen right away! She had been taking Clomid again for 8 months this time when they got pregant. She is 14 weeks along and for triplets, I guess you are 10 weeks advanced so she looks 24 weeks already!
Needless to say, they are completely freaking out! Not quite the life they had planned for themselves living in paradise. Luckily, they both have great jobs (that neither one wants to quit!) and are organized and mature. But the obstacles that they are facing are just crazy, but do-able, of course. Minivan in their future. Can you imagine FOUR carseats! Yikes!

(as an aside...was her doctor doing ultrasounds and monitoring her while she was on the clomid? usually many will tell you to skip the sex if they see too many follicles developing)
ETA: btw - i have a friend w/triplets who was really freaking out when she first found out b/c it is so exciting and scary all at the same time... so if she is wanting someone to talk to while she goes through the whole experience, let me know!
