Since we have been in the house so much lately, I figured I better step it up and do some crafts although I am completely lost when it comes to walking in Hobby Lobby and finding what I need, lol. Simple crafts would be better if you know of any:)
My son loves to do stamps (not the post office kind, the ink pad kind). Since ink stains his hands, I put a thin layer of washable paint on plastic plates and let him dip them and stamp paper. You can pick up stamps for $1 in the Michaels $1 bins. In just the last 2 months I've scored like 10 cute kid friendly ones (a bee, icecream cone, cupcake, smiley face, airplane, school bus...etc, etc). We do this at least twice a week.
My blog is by no means as awesome as those blogs VT posted, but I do search those blogs and try stuff out with DS a lot. Links in siggy. The Sequel blog is my newer blog so you might not find as many craft posts, so try the other one first.
Re: Have any good craft ideas for a toddler or know of a good blog?
There are lots of crafty ladies on this board and the preschool board.
Here is an old post of mine with links to blogs inside: https://community.thenest.com/cs/ks/forums/41032158/ShowThread.aspx#41032158
Walk in to HL, grab some felt, some stickers, some tissue paper, construction paper, contact paper, glue, ribbon, and have fun!
Also cookie cutters are great. Dip in paint and create!
