Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

My makeup disappears right off my face!

Usually by about lunchtime or shortly after, I look like I never bothered putting anything on.

Where does it go and how can I make it last longer?

I mean, it doesn't look like I came in from the rain or anything that dramatic but I swear that it is magical & it dissipates into thin air.

  • Maybe try wearng a primer first and setting powder after? And try not to touch your face, like resting your cheek on her fist ect. Go talk to a local beauty counter Im sure they can make recommendations.

It happens to me too but I rarely wear makeup now.

  • I agree with the primer. I used to work for Clinique and there are many ways to help your makeup stay on. You might be using a moisturizer that is too heavy as well.

  • What kind of makeup do you use? Do you use any kind of primer? What kind of skin do you have?

For eye makeup, I use Urban Decay Primer Potion. It's neutral and won't change the color of the eye shadow. Love it!

For my face, I use Korres Face Primer. It's silicone free and smells yummy!

I use mostly mac. I use lancome mascara though. I don't use a primer. I will have to start. I just use a light foundation and a wee bit of concealer under my eyes.

    I have super dry skin.

Also, how do you pick bronzer? Anyone? I have light skin and I refuse to look orange but it would be nice to have get away from looking 3 days dead. I can wear light bronzer in the winter right? HELP!

  • Get thee to a Sephora! The girls there are very helpful, not (too) pushy, and should be able to help you find a bronzer that works for you.

I too am pale. So pale that I burst into flames instead of tanning. I use the Korres bronzer. Truthfully, I haven't found a Korres product I didn't like.

  • Mac makes a great primer.

    And a mineralized finishing powder.
