in 3rd Trimester
So I had two hours worth of super painful contractions like I've never felt before earlier today. Radiated to the back, all that fun stuff. I took a walk and then they stopped. I took another walk this evening, when I got home to pee, I noticed a really small drop of blood. I put on a pantyliner so I could monitor it, I'm still contracting but not really painful like they were. You think that's like the beginning of my bloody show or any ideas. PS I was planning on calling the dr. if it got worse, but I figured it isn't a reason to call yet.

    My bloody show was redish brown and stringy...like snotty. Sorry if that's gross. lol If it was bright red, I would go ahead and call just in case.

    Could very well be your bloody show, especially if it's not old (brown) blood.  You're right though, unless you start bleeding a lot of RED or your contractions are picking up in frequency and duration, there's probably no reason to call your doctor yet.  If it is your bloody show though, labor *could* be a day or two away.  The best thing you could probably do is get some calories, hydrate, and rest up.  GL!

    That's how mine was too. I started seeing a bit once I had started real labor contractions. I didn't start bleeding a lot until the baby was born. Before that point, I probably had just enough bleeding to fill up 1 pad through my whole labor. Sooooo, I wouldn't use heavier bleeding as a sign of it being the real deal.

    I'd wait until your contractions were more regular.  It sounds like it's coming, though!  Sleep and eat!  GL!
