DD has started to pretend play that she is a teacher. She will sit on the coffee table with a book and read to her students. Then she will call on each one by name and tell them if they have a wrong or right answer. Sometimes I giggle cause of the names she gives her students... Linkin, Lexson.

I usually bring a snack when I pick DD up from school. A few days ago, I brought a granola bar, but I was having a MAJOR craving for a doughnut (we like those mini ones from SBs)...
DD: What snack do I have today?
Me: I brought you a bar, but I was thinking of getting a doughnut.
DD: (very somber) Well, I would be willing to have one of those...
Me: Couldn't stop laughing, DD totally didnt understand why! (Ok, it was hilarious, but I'm not sure it comes through in a post...)

DS- Yes. I will cut off your toe so your boo boo doesn't hurt anymore.

3 IUI's and 2 IVF's later- Brady arrived. Born at 36 weeks after PUPPS and pre-e/HELLP.
IUI- BFN IVF #1 -BFP! Allie is our 2nd IVF baby. Born at 36 1/2 weeks after pre-e again
DS went upstairs to change his clothes because they were wet. He was taking a while so I asked him what he was doing...."I'm getting my slippers cause my feet are cold".
Me: OK so come down now.
DS proceeds to come down the stairs in his slippers.....and nothing else! I couldn't stop laughing. I said "Your feet are cold? What about the rest of you?"

We went to a city park this weekend. The park has a statue of some historical figure in the center. My DD asked who it was and I told her. Then she said she knew it wasn't the statue of liberty "because she holds an ice cream cone".

The other day I fell down really hard & of course I fell on some toys(ouch!). I was laying there for a minute b/c I was in a bit of pain.
Taylor: Mommy, are you ok?
Me: No, I'm little hurt.
Taylor: That's unfortunate mommy. The floor can be dangerous. You need to be careful.

DS was building with blocks. He said "I built the awful tower!"
He meant the Eiffel Tower. Had I not remembered letting him watch some show about Paris or something that morning I would have had no clue.
