Trying to Get Pregnant

I'm craving

a pumpkin spice frappe from Starbucks...

but it's 30 min away :( I hate small towns with no Starbucks and my local coffee haunt closes at 2pm

  • They make it in frappes???  I love the lattes but since it's still summer-like weather here, a frappe sounds to die for.
  • Me too, but our Starbucks is too far here too, and the traffic in this town makes it not worth it. I might get a decaf on the way  home though, its too good to resist.

    Are frapps the frozen/blending drinks?

I LOVE pumpkin spice!  It's my addiction during fall time.  I always get a pumpkin spice chai....it's so delish!

    yesm! icy, blended, yummy!

I'm a coffee nerd and an experienced barista of the hometown version (aka not starbucks) and generally do not like many starbucks drinks due to preference but the pumpkin spices, they just do something to them that I can't resist nor deny!!!!

  •  Pumpkin Spice Cake/Cupcakes

18 1/4 oz. pkg. spice cake mix

3 1/2 oz. pkg. instant butterscotch pudding mix

    4 eggs

    1/4 c. water

    1/4 c. oil

    1 1/2 c. canned pumpkin

    2 t. pumpkin pie spice

In a large mixing bowl, blend all ingredients together. Beat at low speed for 30 seconds then 4 minutes at medium speed. Pour into a greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes or until tested done. Let cool for 30 minutes, then turn out onto a serving plate. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Makes 8-10 servings.

I have also made them into cupcakes (cook 22 minutes) and frosted them with buttercream frosting!

I have also tried different glazes on this cake, but it is so moist and spongy that it often gets soggy.

**I had about 1/2 or 2/3 c. leftover canned pumpkin, so I whipped it with a can of buttercream frosting in my KitchenAid and it turned out YUMMY!!!
