Stopping BF'ing?

Hi ladies, I am pretty sure my breast feeding days are slowly coming to and end :( I have noticed since EBF I stay hungry all the time, once I stop BF will my feeling of hunger taper off? If not I will gain everything this back that I have worked so hard to lose! TIA

Re: Stopping BF'ing?

  • When I stopped bf'ing my first DD, I gained quite a bit of weight.  I gained it slowly and didn't really notice until all of a sudden I was 25 lbs overweight.  I looked at pics from when she was a month old and I was thinner than when she was 14 months old.  I was shocked!

  • You burn calories while BF'ing.
  • I really hope I don't eat as much, I have been eating basically non stop since DS was born and am down 15lbs from pre-pregnancy. I would assume that since you aren't burning as many calories, you won't be as hungry. If I am, I am screwed!
