Update: Anatomy Scan
Thanks so much everyone for the good thoughts yesterday. Everything went well at the scan although baby was being super stubborn! I didn't think she'd be able to find out the gender, much less get everything else she needed as baby was just being totally lazy. There was lots of poking and prodding of my belly to get baby to cooperate. Thankfully she was able to get what she needed. We don't have any great pics to share as baby was being so stubborn. She couldn't even get a profile! So this time we have a nice little snapshot of legs and back. She was able to get a crotch shot for our reveal but explained that it'd be a little hard for us to "see" on our own.
Our reveal dinner went great! We couldn't have asked for anything better and it was an experience that we will never, ever forget. I was a little overwhelmed at first because I really don't like being the center of attention and couldn't figure out why I had agreed to do it to begin with (I had mentioned what someone did on here and hubby serious LOVED the idea). But I'm really glad we did it. It was just us, my parents and 3 *really* close couple friends. My friend got a really sweet pic of my hubby hugging me after we found out and we also had another friend record it.
We are proud to be a part of TEAM BLUE! There are no little boys on dh's side of the family (he's so excited to be able to carry on his last name) and this is the first grandchild for my parents. We already have his name picked out as well, Logan Allen.
