    It's been six years and I STILL haven't had mine cleaned...is that gross??

    Wow, great job!!!

    My seamstress said just throw a wedding dress in a tub with a little laundry detergent, then hang it up to dry. She said she does that with all satin materials and it always comes out great.  Then if you need to, just have it steamed later.  Much cheaper than having the whole thing dry cleaned.

    Good to know. Somehow I got a grease stain on my dress. Maybe I'll give dawn with bleach a try!

    Femera started November 2014. 3 rounds, no luck. Moving to IUI.
    March 2015: IUI#1 - nope.
    May 2015: IUI#2 - nada.
    October 2015: IUI#3 - BFP on Nov 2, 2015! *stick baby stick!*

    Only reason mine is cleaned is my mother came to my house when I was on my honeymoon and took it to be preserved!  I love her!  I told her that I wanted to make my children's christening outfits from my wedding dress, she remembered and had it cleaned so "her grandbabies were in a clean outfit for the special day." LOL

    That is awesome... I had mine preserved because I wouldn't trust putting it into our crappy rusty water...
