between crazytown (sorry i can't remember names, just the stupid that comes from them) and the "ethnic" ear piercing (wtf is that supposed to mean?) and the "gay clothes" comments i'm not sure whether my head is going to explode or whether i'm going to bust out in laughter from the stupid.

I scratched my head at the 'ethnic' comment too... Elyse has had her ears pierced since before she was 3 months old. We're not 'ethnic'. So I guess that leaves us as being 'white trash'?? Confused

well apparently i'm not living up to my "ethnic" duty. dd is 2 and doesn't have her ears pierced. my mexican and native american ancestors would roll over in their teepees! zomg!

i just love know-it-alls with zero babies. makes for fun around the 6-9 mark when one of them does something stupid and judge from the other side and you can reach back in time and pull that thread up where they said "zomg i would NEVER".

The board is like a sample of America. There are asswipes in America, therefore there are asswipes here too. A lot of them get flamed away on the boards, but a few of them are pesky and stay around. At least it keeps things interesting.

well i dont think that babys under 2 should have their ears pierced but thats just my opinion. and what do ears being pierced have to do with ethnicity? i see lots of white babys with pierced ears as well as mexican, black asian and any other ethnicity

That's the point of using the word ethnic. Everyone one is ethnic as we are all of some ethnicity or another. All ethnicities are ethnic. It's an old grade school joke. But it's funny that it still works for stirring the pot so well.

Laugh until your head explodes? Laughing is at least less stressful. I know I giggled at the "ethnic" comment. I had my ears pierced as a baby, and I (rather, my family) was as redneck as they come. I know there's pros and cons to the matter, but I wouldn't pierce my kid's ear until she expressed interest in having it done. I ended up taking mine out as soon as I was physically able to, lol, didn't get them done again until high school.
