I just saw in your ticker that you had a vanishing twin with DD.  I was just diagnosed as possibly having one.  Did you have any symptoms? I started spotting this weekend with cramps and pelvic pressure.  I can't help to worry about losing the healthy baby, but my OB said it was normal.

    I am sooo soo sorry. The only thing that did happen was me and my co-worker were walking everyday during lunch. One day I went into the bathroom to pee and I wiped and I had a spec of red blood. I thought nothing of it. When we went into our 10 week U/S twin B stopped growing at 8 weeks a few days which landed on the day I found the spot of blood. Coincidence I don't know.

    We knew we had the twins early only because I was having some pain early on. However DD grew and is healthy. I did have her prematurly. Dr.'s don't know why I had PTL at 30 weeks but maybe her twin had something to do with it. They have no idea. 

    Did they see another baby???

    From what I've read, vanishing twins can cause premature labor (it is more likely the longer you carry them).  They didn't see another baby, but another gestational sac with fluid.  I have really high HCG numbers so I'm assuming that was the reason.  My nerves are a little better now that I have a reason for the spotting and the cramping, I just hope this little one sticks.  We're going to wait to tell everyone until we can hear the heartbeat with the doppler.

    I am sure LO is good. The day we found out about Ella's twin passing she was flipping us off. The u/s tech was laughing and froze the screen and printed the pic out for me...I guess she wanted to be the only one.
