Creeping linea nigra

Last week it was just below my belly button down to my nether regions, but now it has appeared above my belly button and it seriously goes almost all the way up my stomach, ugh!

Has yours been slowly getting longer and/or darker, too? Anyone still not have one yet?

Mine goes up to my boobies. It's actually gotten lighter. It went from a wide mark to looking like someone penciled it on. It's weird.

I have one too. I have one from just below my boobs down to my belly button and its way off center and way to the left. then I also have one that goes from my belly button to my pelvis and that on is centered so it looks really funny.

Mine is starting to develop now.

I had a really dark line with my DD and it didn't go away until 8 weeks PP. No biggee though. It's harmless and will fade.

How do none of you have one? I got mine around week 15 or 16 and I just noticed yesterday that it's gotten wider and darker. It goes from my pubic bone almost up to right below my breasts. It doesn't creep me out at all.

nothing here, which is a pleasant surprise. I already have hereditary melasma on my face and that has gotten worse, so I thought for sure I would get a linea nigra early on since apparently they are basically the same thing (hormonal hyperpigmentation).

I've had mine a while and its getting darker. It goes from top to bottom and seems to circle my belly button like a little bruise in the center of my tummy. =(

I'm fair so I was hoping I wouldn't get one!

Ugh , was hoping I wouldn't get one....but I noticed last week it's getting darker going from my belly button on down. And then now I noticed I have a light one going all the way up from my belly button to the bottom of my boobs. Boo hoo!!!!!!! It's kind of freaking me out. It better fade...........

I noticed I have a little line showing up in the past two weeks around my pubic bone and nowhere near my belly. Right now, my belly is a bit discolored from the increased baby growth. DH was the one who mentioned to me if I had a rash or something the other night.

I was hoping not to get the line since I am fair skinned and it's bad enough that my disappearing belly button is becoming more transparent and you can see a hint of a blue vein running underneath it. It grossed me out and DH is was also freaked out and thinks my belly is now "staring" at him, lol!

I've had mine since I was 14 weeks pregnant and it goes the entire length of my belly. It's funny, but before I knew that we were having a boy, I read that one of the OWT's says that if the line is from the belly buttom down, then you're having a girl and if the line is from the belly buttom up it's a boy.

No, lots of women don't get it and it's more notably on women of color like me.

It only took a couple of months (maybe 6 weeks) for mine to disappear the first time. It is back though, and has been since I was 14 weeks pregnant this time. Like someone else said though, I think it shows up more frequently on women of color.
