  • infant shoes.

    Blinged out pacifiers.

  • Loading the player...
  • double strollers... the ones that are side by side

i think the mothers who buy them might be worse then the strollers themselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they act like they own the sidewalk/hall/isles!

This completly!! Also, I can't stand the child leashes. I guess that isn't really baby, but it still irritates me to no end.

  • Character anything

Clothes with messages that perpetuate gender stereotypes (while nothin is wrong with football my NB certainly is not a 'champ')

  • All of the above, but especially the character bedding sets with matching curtains, carpet and wallpaper border. Oooh, and cheetah print anything.

  • Bows and baby head bands. Seriously, they look stupid and cruel.

And earrings in girls under 5. It's just so "ethnic."

Dress your daughter in pink, if people still can't tell it's a girl, then your baby is ugly, bows and earrings are not helping.

  • Diaper warmers/bottle warmers, etc. Babies "need" them because they expect them.?

Bug drinks BM and formula cold, as well as having his butt cleaned with cold wipes. He's never complained.

**He never drank BM from the bewb (EP'd), so I CAN understand needing an adjustment period if your child is used to that - but not 9 months.

  • In the order I hate things:

    1. Strollers, yes I'm serious.

    2. Diaper Genies....they smell SO bad why would you want a second litter box in the house lol.

    3. Anything that warms baby items, whats the purpose?

    4. Anything that smells like baby powder blah!!!

    5. Character anything! From bedding to shirts, again whats the point?

I really like this post lol!!! :D

I understand wanting a warm bottle. And I know they say do not microwave all over the place. But I kinda think that's so they don't get sued when someone uses the microwave and is too stupid to test the temp/vigorously shake to get rid of hot spots. As for me. Ill be using the microwave/shake/test method. Edit-Bahhaahahaha ok guys. Sorry but typing and talking on the phone makes me spell shiz wacko. I'm sure someone already corrected me.

  • Baby Leashes...especially the ones that have animals on them. I'm sure they are practical for some people but I just think they look stupid and I side-eye someone every time I see them walking their child like a dog.

    So is genital mutilation.

Are you really comparing ear piercing to genital mutilation? Wow...

This.  Double this.  It's just degrading...and the animals just add insult to injury.

    Baby girl headbands.

Bonnets - unless you live on a prairie in 1900.

Shopping cart seat protectors - seriously?  Seriously...

Ick, I agree.  I went for solid sheets at BRU.  I think I also have one polka-dot sheet that was on clearance at walmart.

I have a kid that runs.  I can either trap him in a stroller, hold his hand all day long, or use a backpack monkey leash; I choose the leash.  He can explore while at a safe distance and I don't have to worry about him getting lost.  We only use then at busy places like the zoo and museums.  I was 100% opposed to them before we had Ben, I have since eaten my words.   He gets freedon, I get peace of mind.

I also put giant bows on my daughter and my boys love thomas the train and mickey mouse clothes.

  • I'm going to agree that I love the Baby Legs.  They're incredibly convenient and DD1 still wears hers to dance class - now that's getting some use out of them!

    Okay things I don't like...

    -wipe warmers and bottle warmers

    -diaper genies

    -shopping cart covers

    DD1 - 12.25.05
    (m/c 1.17.07, m/c 5.15.07)
    DS - 03.15.08
    DD2 - 12.03.09
    DD3 - 3.28.11
  • I hate the child leashes above all else. Damnit people, hold your childs hand or put them in a stroller but they are NOT a dog.

I don't like diaper genies either and although I am going to use cloth diapers, i can't even believe that they make "denim" diapers...how ridiculous.

Im sure i will discover more things that i dont like along my journey into motherhood...

  • I have to go with big ugly flowers stuck to ugly headbands on bald babies. Or bows actually GLUED to little baby girls heads. Everyone around us has been warned not to put anything like that on our little girls head or they won't be holding her for 2 months, penalty.

You will think differently if your kid is a runner LOL (my son has autism and is not just a runner he is a bolter, and when he was still non verbal he couldn't answer me. Now he is 5 and doesn't shut up and is still a runner but has much better listening skills LMAO)

I HATE diaper genies, and everything with characters but I know people are gonna buy my kid gay outfits with stuff on it.

    Blinged pacifiers (so dangerous)
anything with ruffles on the butt

There is more. I can go on and on and now that I am having a girl after having boys there is even more that I cant stand
