    His version:  at a bar the night before my BFF's wedding.  I have zero recollection of meeting him so...

    My version:  at a bar where I was stalking my best guy friend, Brian, to nail down our vacation plans to Italy.  I was so annoyed with Brian that he hadn't decided which cities he wanted to visit and he was all "Hey, meet Pat and these other two dudes."  And I just wanted to clobber him on the head and get an itinerary nailed down.

    Brian called the next day to tell me Pat really liked me and I couldn't remember which of the three guys was Pat.  Yeah, I'm a real charmer!

    Through friends of friends while he was stationed in Japan... really long story but our relationship for the first several months was online.

    We went to high school and knew each other.  We were friends of friends, but both had steady relationships in high school.  Well after he came home from Iraq in 2005, my college roommate who was also our friend from high school invited him to a New Years party at our house.  We talked and caught up, we were both single at this point, I invited him to another party a month later, we hooked up there (on our exes who were then dating each other couch), I moved in with him a month later, and we were married exactly one year later on the same date as that second party!!

    Band camp, ugh yep lots of jokes with that one, I was 14 and he was 16 we had solos each year together lol. We got married as band directors, and the 12 years have flown by.

    Yahoo personals.  He messaged me...I messaged him back.  2wks later we meet in person after a hurricane blew through town.  His house had no electricity, mine did.  We say he was immediately attracted to my electricity (he's a gadget geek). 

    6yrs later we married, 7yrs later we're parents to be :)

    I moved from Michigan back to my hometown in Ohio and sprained my ankle in the move. My mom called one of the single guys from church to come help since he had Fridays off with his current work schedule.

     We got married 2 years later to the day.   (despite the 10 boxes of shoes he had to haul up the stairs to my apartment)

    All of these stories are so fun!

    DH and I met on a youth mission trip to South Wales when we were 15, but we didn't date. After that, we sort of lost touch, but I never forgot him. Five years down the line, God brought us together again; and we started making marriage jokes after dating for one month. I moved out of state for a year and he visited me a couple of times a month. Then, the June after I moved back, he proposed! Eleven months later, we said 'I do'! Now it's been a year and a half and we're expecting baby #1! Life is crazy Big Smile

    DH and I met through mutual friends on facebook while I was teaching overseas. One and a half years latger we were engaged, another one and a half years we were married and now we are expecting our first LO.

    Hospital.

    I hit my head so my friend insisted that I go to the hospital. He was my doctor since he's in neuro. We flirted because he was gorgeous and I was excited and single! I told him that I was fine and he insisted on making sure. So, we made a deal that if I was fine, he would take me out on a date. Yes, I'm a bit bold... And...it all started there.

    I met my DH in second grade. We were friends in grade school and went to jr high and high school together but weren't really friends at that time. We got back in touch on facebook and he asked me out on a date. The rest is history.

    DH and I were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend.  I wasn't impressed with him after the first date because I guess he was shy but he kept trying to hook up with me again, eventually I gave in and actually got to know him, we found we had a lot of common interests and the rest is history.

    We worked at a summer resort together that a professor at our college owned.  We start dating before the guests even started checking in and have spent every moment together since. 

    When we went back to school that next semester and discovered that we had lots of the same friends and had been to lots of the same events but somehow never met.

    Two months later we moved in together and six years after that we got married!

    At a friends birthday party my senior year in college.  I was actually friends with his brother and his friends for about 6 months before I meet him. 2 months before we meet, we were both at the same party but never crossed paths.  I left as he was arriving.  9 years later we have been married for 4 years, have a beautiful DS and LO on the way. :)

    We met on the bus on a high school choir trip. I was sitting by myself and DH came over to sit with me. He introduced himself and by the end of the night we were dating.

    We always wondered how the heck we never knew each other. We had been in choir together for years and we even rode the same bus. I have no recollection of him at all until that night. So strange!

    In an online chat room when I was in high school. He actually picked on me at first! We were friends for a year or so before we became a couple on my 18th birthday in sept. 2002. We didn't officially meet until April 2003 so he could go to my seior prom with me. We just got married on January 1st. :)

    It really is. I never thought that would be the way I'd meet someone. Hot doctor has always been my fantasy! Now...it's just annoying. :)

    I met my husband when we were 16 at Little Leauge.

    I had a B/F but we remained friends until we were finally both single and we  started dating 10 years later when we were 26.

    Married at 29 this past April :)
