Hi Ladies! This is my new favorite board, so I think I'll stick around. I have a Moby and I LOVE it, but I've been reading that they don't work well for larger babies. DS is 2 months old and weighs about 13lbs, so I don't know how much longer the Moby is going to be practical. I want to get a Woven, but they are kinda pricey.
Has anyone ordered one from Etsy? They are much cheaper, but I don't know how the quality is...should I just bite the bullet and pay for one I know will be good? I could tell my husband it's cheaper than going to the chiropractor every week...
Re: Coming out of hiding - question about woven wraps
The wraps on esty are actually made of cotton gauze, or possibly osnaburg, but they aren't true wovens. They are, however, very easy and inexpensive to make and would be great to experiment with if you've never wrapped before. But since you already have a moby and like wrapping then I would jump straight to a woven.
thebabywearer.com has a for sale or trade forum that you can find some great deals on but you are still going to be spending about $100 or more.
If you'd like some help finding one pm me some details like the weather in your area, favorite colors, and budget and I'll link you to some things that I think will work.
Ooh, and I almost forgot, ncbelle has a great wrapping guide, here's the link https://www.becomingmamas.com/babywearing-2/wraps/
