We do it a couple different ways. Fajita style with a rub on soft tacos, or in an asian marinade (soy, fresh ginger, garlic, rice vinegar). We let it marinate a few hours if we can. The key is to not cook past medium rare or medium it and to let it rest after cooking. Slice it super thin. Maggie LOVES it.

I made these recipe a couple of weeks ago for my 1st attempt a flat iron steak. It was pretty tasty. We just broiled it instead of grilling it.
I've heard good things about Giada's recipe too.

We've always used Kalbi marinated flank steak and then either grilled or broiled. Here is a recipe for a kalbi marinade, SO delicious!
