So i finally got up enough you know what to make a hair appt to chop off my hair. I'm very nervous. I have always had very long hair. It's right below my bra strap. My DH loves my long hair and has said in the past he didn't want me to cut it. But i'm just at the point now where i can't stand it anymore and I just want a new look. I have curly hair so a style is very hard for me so i figured if i chop it to my shoulders that would make it look very different. I"m going this Saturday and DH has no clue what i'm doing. We are celebrating our 2nd Anniv SAt night w/ going out to dinner so i hope he likes it!!! I"m just so scared. I know if i hate it, it will grow back but i'm also very excied!!

I'm sure it will be great and you are keeping it at a length where you can still put it up and easily grow it out without a problem or an awkward point. I'm sure it will look great. I've noticed that with people who have always had long hair it is literally like they are a new person when they get a cut. Good luck and enjoy it.

I am so right there with you, so sick of my long hair, ready for a change,my DH too loves it long though. My texture is still not back to normal from pg but once it is I want the Jenny Macarthy (sp?) bob, longer in front than back. I am really scared that it will not look good on me but adore the cut! Luckily my hair grows super fast!

my theory on hair is...it'll grow back. So go bold do something fun, if you love it, Great! If you don't, you can grow it back out. (remind DH that when he freaks out...)lol
