If so, where to? My husband and I just went to Ireland in July, but they have a good point, that now is the last time we will be alone with no kids! Kind of makes me want to hop a plane to Hawaii.
nothing to big- as we are now saving for a baby but we are going to spend a weekend at the lake in the town we got married in sometime in november. a babymoon/r&r before the holidays pick up!
We just took our honeymoon to Ireland in July! But we are going to Wales over Christmas with my family and then to San Fransisco to see my dad in January but I am hoping we can have a week-end just the two of us!
I don't think we are going to be able to. We are now in full saving for baby mode, and after the baby is born we will be traveling back and forth to MN for baptism and weddings, and to San Diego for a wedding.
Not so much a babymoon as a trip without DD and before another comes. I've gone on girls trips and we've done some couples trips, but we're going completely solo this time! We're going to DC to do all the touristy things mid-October to enjoy the weather and be together. We're very excited for our dork tour.
I'd like to. I just recently read up on the whole babymoon thing. We've been wanting to take a little getaway even before we found out we were PG. We went to Ireland on our honeymoon - it was great!
We are planning on going to Hawaii for a week in January. I should be able 23 weeks by then so I'm hoping it will be a good time. We were planning on going before we found out about baby, so I'm not sure if it is a true "babymoon"
Exciting! My husband just said he thinks Hawaii is out because we need to save for baby....but maybe a long weekend trip somewhere local will be in order during the 2nd trimester. I just don't know how relaxing it will be in November in Washington state- I'll freeze my bum off! LOL
We took our "babymoon" for the month of June in Italy....before TTC. Thought we would do the trip first so I could kick back and have some drinks before getting pregnant. Best trip ever!
DH and I are going to spend a long weekend in Denver soon. We live in Santa Fe, so we are driving. We wanted to get away at least once before baby comes. We drove cross country on our honeymoon and spent some time in Denver, so we are going to stay in the same hotel. We have friends in Ft. Collins too, so we are going to visit them as well. It will not be a big romantic getaway, but a nice long weekend away. Also, my MIL is taking our dogs. This is big for us because since we got them we never go anywhere without them!
We're not planning one specifically, but we have several trips coming up--orlando for a week in January, San Diego in February, Outer Banks for a few days in November and March, and Boston in April.
DH would like to take our 1st trip w/o our DD as a babymoon for this baby in either Nov or Dec. We are just going to do a weekend trip b/c we are so nervous about leaving her for too long. We were thinking of going to Sante Fe or somewhere like that, either NM or CO. I don't want to go anywhere where I would have to wear a swimsuit! I know I did not feel like wearing a swim suit with my last pg!

My husband and I had planned on going out of the country at least once a year since we were waiting on having children. However, we found out that we're pregnant! We have already paid for our trip for this Dec. We're going to Ireland! I LOVE cold and wet weather which is why we decided to go there this time of year! Any suggestions on places to go? We'll be staying in Clare! I'm sooo excited!!
I guess this will be the last trip we take before we have the baby, I'm due in April!

We'll always remember our angel baby: BFP 9/24/10, M/C 10/23/10 8w4d
We went on one when I was pregnant with my son. Just a little trip to Charleston SC, but it was great.
Now we are all about family vacations but hopefully we can get a night away!!
So glad that I saw your post!!
