Huh DH?

Okay, so DH has a big golf outing today and he will be gone all day.  He told me about it a few weeks ago, so it's really no big deal.  Well this morning he is getting ready to go and we start talking about DS's baptism that is coming up mid Oct.  All of the planning with the church I have done, but we have both worked on invites for the family.  He starts asking me if I have sent out an email with directions to the church and the luncheon.  I told him not yet, but I would get on it later next week as we still have over 3 weeks left.  He then precedes to tell me that during DS's nap today, I really need to get that finished.  I was furious.  First, I don't care that you will be gone all day, but DO NOT tell me what to do with my only relaxing time during the day!  (DS is pretty high needs so when he is awake, I'm busy)  Second, if it is so dire that it needs done immediately, he can do it!  I am not the only one who is planning this!  I told him both of those things and he storms out of the house saying he can't believe that I am trying to make him feel guilty about golfing today.....what?  Did I miss something?  Okay, vent over....thanks for reading.

  • Ugh. I know how you feel.

Sometimes a girl just needs to let it out!

Our DHs can really be douche-bags sometimes.

  • Men...sigh...

My DH usually is OOT for work during the week...when he comes home, he tried to micromanage EVERYTHING, from how I BF to letting Adi cry a little bit in his swing while we eat. I tell him I do just fine all week, I don't need his input on everything. Grr...

  • There are times that I just don't get where he is coming from!!  He didn't see anything wrong with telling me to do something.  If he would have asked or phrased it as 'hey, tonight lets sit down together and finish up everything we have left for the baptism' I would have been fine with it.  *sigh* I guess tomorrow is another day.  Thanks for listening and your support!  It definitely helps to vent a little!!
