QOTW: We brought the crib home last week and will be ordering the dresser and and mattress this week. The glider will come later b/c we are asking my dad for it for Christmas.

We are renovating a room for the nursery, so I've been consumed by tearing down 100 year-old plaster and lathe (with a respirator and safety glasses). Looking forward to a point that we can think about cribs and furniture. Hoping for neighborhood hand-me-downs, whenever they are available.

We bought a crib/changing table a couple weeks ago when target had their buy the crib, get the changing table free. Too good of a deal to pass up! Won't be buying anything else until we find out the sex!
LO's crib and dresser were ordered when I was 20 weeks, the day after we had my anatomy scan and found out he was a boy! I can't wait for everything to come in.

I haven't bought any furniture yet. I am still debating on which crib i really like. Found a few at Babies R Us and also online. Will probably make my decision within the next few weeks and purchase in early November. I think it is time that I start buying things for my baby, lol.

QOTD: We bought a crib a few weeks ago and we already have a dresser we will be using as a changer. I still need to find a rocker.
I went ahead and moved up to the 2nd tri board at 12 weeks. I guess since there are 3 different ways to calculate the trimesters, you can go ahead and move me to the 2nd tri list, if you don't mind.
I am embarrassed to say that at this ridiculously early date, we already ordered the furniture because we'd pretty much decided on Lauren Graco, and Target was having the big sale. It's being stored in my IL's garage for now.
So, we have a crib and change table in storage. Yikes.

QOTW: I have no clue. I'm only 9 weeks today, and we haven't decided if we're going to find out the sex yet, and if we do, that might affect my decision. So I guess not for at least another 11 weeks!
For the QQTW: At what week will you, did you order furniture? We are waiting until we close on our new house - right now its set for Tuesday the 19th of October. The parents have already told us not to be buying anything yet, but just looking around then when we're all there for your house warming the week after Thanksgiving we'll all go out - getting whatever we need in this area (the nursery). Both sets of grand parents want to do this for us. So we plan to just let them do whatever they wish on this. It's my parent's second grand child and his parents forth so they've gone through this for all the other grand kids. DH and I are out some on week-ends looking - getting some ideas, but we'll have a better feel for this when we move into the new house. I'm still shooting for the sitting room as my nursery to begin with. Then moving baby to his/her own room later (say 6 monthe or so).

No furniture yet, I have some stuff from DD in storage, the rocking crib that was built for me. My grandmas rocker that I was rocked in, so I like the old stuff with memories not the one time use things.
