pumping and dumping....so sad

I really like to have a few glasses of wine on Friday once we get DS down. I have to pump so that I don't explode in the night but in crushes me to dump it out. I got those milk alcohol strips (that test the alcohol in your bm) but even after one glass of wine it shows up positive...so down the drain it goes. :(  What do you guys do...?

    I feed right before I drink then wait like 4 hours but I am a big girl and it leaves my system pretty soon.

    I typically feed/pump then have my drink in the next 15-20 minutes. I'll nurse about 3 hours after if needed. I have never ever dumped.

    i stick to one glass a night, and drink it right after I feed DS. I've never pumped to test, but our pediatrician said to follow the rule of one (one cup of coffee, one glass of wine, etc) and you and your milk will be fine. FWIW I've also heard that pumping and dumping is pointless, since alcohol is not stored in your milk, but if you can still feel the effects, it's in your bloodstream and therefore in your milk. I miss having more than one for sure, but I sure do enjoy that one glass!
