New Daddy Gift?

I want to get my husband a gift for when our son is born, but I'm coming up blank.  I wanted to get something that was special, not just a diaper bag that looks "manly", and most of the new dad t-shirts I've seen online he wouldn't wear.  I thought about getting a nice picture frame for him & getting a photo of our son when he's born, but he doesn't have anywhere that he can really put it - he's a firefighter & doesn't have a desk...

I thought about making him a mix CD / playlist of Daddy/Son songs, but I can't come up with any of those either.  Most songs are Daddy/Daughter, or just too generic.

 Any ideas?

    I just bought H a new MacBook because I'm dismantling our desktop once it moves from the baby's room down to the basement so now he can still watch all his porn.

    Christmas isn't too far off and since the baby's actual birth day is coming up, I was thinking of getting an iPad and a Kindle for her ;)

    LMAO You are an awesome wife. Before we got married, I was H's porn buddy-- the one who has to throw it all out before the parents come to collect your belongings. Oh the things we do. hah :)

    I was thinking about getting DH a coffee card with like $100 on it and give it to him when he goes back to work. He really really likes his double vanilla lattes but tries to limit them to once a week.

    Plus one of the baristas always flirts with him a little and that always puts a little pep in his step.

    i was thinkin watch too! or something that you could get engraved..a flask! LOL my husband has our #1 dd name tattooed-ok cant spell that!! and will be getting #2 name shortly. but he is in to the tattoo thing.

    What about something engraved with the baby's date of birth and other statistics...weight, length, time of birth, name, etc.  A keychain or necklace...

    I am doing quite a few things for my hubby:

    1. I asked all of our friends and family to send me a note on what a great dad they thing my husband will be - then I went on shutterfly and made a book with pictures of him and the quotes.

    2. Cigars with bows on it so he can give to his friends/family

    3. Books he can read our daughter

    4. "Manly" necklace with our daughter's name on it

    5. A custom made shirt with a funny saying on it from our daughter

    I am putting this all in a basket for the big day for him with a card. I already got him scrubs and a diaper bag for father's day.
