We happy to announce that we are expecting baby #2!!
I am 12 weeks along today, and feeling well. We heard the heartbeat last week at my monthly check-up, and it was a very strong 163 bpm. I am high-risk this PG due to having had HELLP syndrome last PG, so I am being closely monitored. I've already had an extensive blood panel done and my 24 hr. urine test was done at 7 wks. Both of which came back normal, yay! I had my 1st tri u/s today, and we got to see great pics of our little peanut. All looks great thus far.
My EDD is April 7th: one week after DD's 3rd birthday!
We were trying for another spring baby since I'm a teacher, so we were elated to learn that I am due on spring break. I will be able to take the rest of the school year off through the summer to be with the kids.
I am hoping and praying that I go full-term this time. My doc says that it's a good chance I won't, but that if HELLP doesn't arise I am a good candidate for a VBAC since I was never actually in labor with DD. We are just hoping for an uncomplicated, healthy pregnancy.
This news isn't on FB yet.
Thanks for letting me AW!
