Do you think your LO is a lefty or a righty?

I totally think my DD is a lefty. She always is sucking on her left hand and grabs most toys with her left hand. My DH is a lefty too, but has horrible handwriting! I hope my DD doesn't get that from him too.

We were just talking about this the other day, I think DS is a righty, same reasons, he uses that one the most and it's ALWAYS in his mouth!

I think DD is a lefty, also. She seems to perfer hitting things with that hand over the other hand. DH is a lefty with bad handwriting, too. I hope her's is better if she is a lefty.

Righty. I'll stand him up with him holding my thumbs & he always pulls his right hand up to his face to chew on my knuckles. He also picks up more toys with his right hand.

I'm not sure! She gnaws both of them, well really whichever she has easiest access to. Toy grabbing might be more right. I'm going with righty.

You have good taste in favourite things! I love DMB!! Very sad I missed them in Toronto this year. DD was only a few weeks old so I couldn't go. Sad

I think she may be a lefty. However, only my brother in law and my brother are lefty. My DH and I are righty. Interesting. We shall see!

I think she may be a lefty. It seems like she plays with her toys with her left hand. My husband and I are both righty's, who knows....

I could have written this post myself! DH is also a lefty and DD always chews on her left hand. When we read books, she always hits it with her left hand and when she reaches for my jewelry (every day Smile

) it doesnt matter which arm I have her in, she will use her left hand. Just today she was laying by the cat and watching his tail. She reached for it with her left hand first, even though her right hand was clearly much closer.
