27 weeks and I'm still pregnant!!!

I can't believe my water broke 20 days ago. All the docs told me women usually deliver within 14-16 days. Today my doc said since I made it past that point I may hold on to her for a few more weeks. She's been doing sooooo well since last Tuesday, no decels on the monitor and no contractions. I had a bedside u/s 2 days ago which showed her fluid levels were up from last week (still pretty low), but at least she has some. Last night during the NST she had the hiccups which means she's swallowing the fluid that's in there. I'm so proud of our baby girl!

I also can't believe I've been secluded to my hospital room for 18 days straight. I'm surprised I'm not going completely nuts!

Yeah!!! This is fabulous news. I hope your little girl continues to stay strong and hang in there. I give you a lot of credit for being so secluded in your hospital room. I am on bed rest at home and going crazy. YOu are a strong lady!

Wow - you have had to endure a lot. I'm so glad that baby is staying put.

I was at risk for having to delivering early and my doc said while viability is 24 weeks, reaching the 27/28 week mark was ideal. With that said - I hope she stays in for a few more weeks.
