We never had an issue with Baby Dry. I know the whole dry max thing is debate-worthy, but I had too many friends with awful rash issues with them, so it wasn't worth it to me to try the Cruisers even though they were cheaper here with all the coupons they were putting out there. Huggies as an infant didn't work well for us. I just never felt the need to fix what wasn't broken.
We never switched to a cruiser or mover diaper when dd became mobile. Unless they are causing leaks or blow-outs I don't know it is worth the extra money.
We've never had a problem with the Baby Dry's. I found the Cruisers to basically be the same diaper, just different material. You could try the Huggies. They worked OK, but I just didn't think they fit him as well as the Pampers did.
Haven't tried the Cruisers. Huggies i found kind of bulky. We use Luvs during the day with no problems at all (and Ryan is very mobile) and Baby Dry at night.
