New to Charting-Babbling

I just wanted to see if anyone could take a look at my chart and tell me what you think about it. This is my first charting cycle and I just went off my BC at the very end of August. I am trying to keep a positive outlook since it's not been that long, but how do you ladies who have been trying and trying stay so positive when this is something you want so badly??!! I'm not supposed to test until Oct. 2nd, but I'm so nervous and I"m afraid I'm going to get a negative result. I know most women don't get KU the very 1st time, but I know it will be so disheartening.

Just looking for any good advice or anyone who will just chat or is willing to listen.

I dont see your chart linked - do you mean FF chart or the bump chart?

Good luck with TTGP! Even though it could takes months to get pregnant, it definitely does suck to see that negative test the first month so don't feel bad, its normal.

Welcome! And really, in the post earlier you said how people on this board are mean and rude and hateful, please please don't say that. The women on this board are absolutely the best. There is no support like it, so please don't judge before you have lurked. Stick around and GL on getting a BFP! Also, if you aren't charting with Fertility Friend, you should check it out. Much more useful than the Bump ticker.

This is my first time charting too. If everything goes well, I hope to test around Oct. 6. I feel the same way you do... I know you don't always get KU on the first try, but I want that BFP sooo much

(like everyone else*) I'd be more that happy to chat with you about charting etc. It would be great to have someone aroudn the same CD!

I have done lots of lurking. I'll show you what I mean, because I am here for support from people who are going thru exactly what I am.

These are what some people posted to another newbie who asked a question that had already been answered. I just think this is so hateful. We are supposed to be here to encourage each other and to be helpful. If someone would have posted that to me, it would have made me upset and not wanted to post again. All I normally do is "lurk" for that reason. I hardly ever post anything.

I am on FF and I do have a ticker, for some reason it wasn't showing up and now I think I've fixed it. Let me know if you can see it please.

I kind of agree with Youngin12..... you get out if it what you put into it...although, I've lurked a lot and sometimes it's nice to actually talk to a person "in the moment" about what is going on.

Also, sometimes people are kind of rude in their responses... I don't think they mean to be, but instead of saying- "Go lurk some more!".... you could just be nice and say, "that question was asked a few hours ago, look above."

The other option is: don't respond! Let someone who wants to answer their question.... even if it's been asked a million times....

I noticed on one board a lot of girls being really snarky and I posted something about it... and they got even more snarky. Some girl asked a very basic question and they totally attacked her. If you are a newbie, just be ready for half rude responses and half nice ones.

For the most part, everyone is really helpful and they do know what they're talking about. Just take it with a grain of salt

Don't feel bad. I went of the Depo shot (which I don't recommend to anyone after wanting a baby) July of 2009 and finally got my period back to normal starting June 2010. I took so many pregnancy tests thinking maybe I was pregnant without getting a period. Frustrating!

This post gives instructions on how to link it. I fail at everything Bump related but I was able to get it to work using those instructions.

Play nice. Name calling is not the way to make friends. The snark comes out of frustration. It's not personal.
