So I weighed my b00bs today

Is this rock bottom?

I hopped on the scale for my weekly weigh in this morning. I feel like I've been eating pretty well (pasta is a food group, right?) and I don't feel like I've gained any weight. Except somehow I'm up about 3.5 pounds since I got pregnant!  I entered my weight on my What to Expect iPhone app and it told me that my gain is excessive.  :(

Since denial is my middle name, I put the scale on the toilet and weighed the girls.  Rationale being that the weight gain has to be all in my chest. Turns out they now weigh 2.5 pounds! They are beasts!

    My question is how do you know the weight you gained is in your girls? Were you weighing them before you were pregnant cause I might have to say that's a bit strange :)

    Ha! Honestly, I don't know how much they weighed before. If I had to guess, I'd say a pound ;) They really are much, much bigger.  But clearly I should pay better attention to how much I'm eating. Gaining a pound a week this early in the game isn't a good thing!

    ahaha... i find that funny. I have this issue as well.. i gain 3-4 pounds.. then lose it all at once.. but mine is not in my boobs at all.. mine is called constipation. lol. Not fun, but between the bloating and constipation it is really hard to know what your actual weight is.. For me and it depends on the day. :) .. and seriously I have to know.. did you weigh them before??

    I wouldn't worry too much about it. In your little bump pic, you look fabulous!! I bet a lot of it is water retention.

    I did read in the pregnancy packet I got from the OB that you gain around 2 pounds in your boobs during pregnancy and I'm not surprised. Mine have definitely grown and I'm afraid of how big they're going to be when this is all over! lol

    However, I totally cracked up at the image of you weighing your boobs. lol At least you didn't try to do it at the little fruit/vedgie weight basket at the grocery store! ;-)

    2 lbs! I have to say that would be really impressive. And also really obscene. Ha, and the visual of weighing them at the grocery store is pretty funny!

    I may have to step away from the scale until the 2nd tri. I'm developing a bit of a complex... as you can see ;)

    Seriosuly, this is killing me... I have total visuals... lol

    If it makes you feel any better, I probably eat 1/4 of a loaf of white bread each day because it soothes my stomach and stays down.

    ROTFLMAO!! I read this at work and I just started cracking up. I am heading to the grocery store tonight and I will have these imagines plastered in my head!!
