Yummy jerky not so yummy side effect

Our house has smelled like jerky non-stop since Sunday from the batches and batches of jerky we are making. I got my first two does over the weekend (yea i had permission from the ob lol) so we made them into jerky! It smells so good and I want it so bad my mouth is watering Crying

. BUT I haven't touched a piece yet and the first batch was done yesterday morning. The smell of it alone I kid you not is so salty my fingers swelled within 2 hours of DH starting to make it. Can you imagine what I would look like if I ate it??? Indifferent
