I do. It's our only car, and trading it in or getting a second car are both out of the question.
I've started to research convertible car seats. Fortunately for us, DS is on the small side at 16 lbs (though he's 27 inches, so he'll probably outgrow his infant seat in length before coming close to the weight limit).
So far, I've been looking at the First Years True Fit. It does have the removable headrest, but you can only do that until 22 lbs or 1" below the top of the seat - so that really doesn't help. We need to find a seat that will fit rear-facing and (hopefully) still leave the front passenger seat operational.
Oh, and I already tried carseatdata.org - it was no help.
Please help!
Re: Does anyone here drive a VW Beetle?
I have the Jetta and DH has a Golf. Unfortunately our conv carseat leaves the front passengers very uncomfortable... I think the spacing in VWs are fairly simmilar so either way it will be tough. But for us its like oh well, we have a baby and if you want a ride then you gotta be uncomfortable!
