My First Maternity Dress....

Last night I went to Target and decided to peruse their maternity section just for fun.  I actually saw a cute dress in there and decided to buy it.  This morning I put on said dress....

I can't believe I am actually looking pregnant in this dress.  I tried to mask my bloated gut by putting on a pair of spanx (which I got winded trying to put on).  The only thing that the spanx did was make my bloated gut look a little more smoother. 

Oh well, I'd rather look pregnant than for someone to say I look fat.

I will say that I will be buying more maternity dresses, they are actually really comfortable!!!

    I have my sister's destination wedding next month and have been hunting for some casual dresses with no luck...  looks like I'm off to Target!!

    I was in Target a week ago, and the maternity section was filled with pregnant ladies (big shock, right?).  I'm not showing just yet, but I stuck out my belly as far as I could and then continued shopping!

     I need to visit again though, because my Target didn't have much at the time.

    I got most of my maternity clothes with DD at Target, I love their stuff and you can't beat the price. Oh, and dresses were my best friend the first time around..we live in FL and I delivered in August!

    OMG..I totally stick out my belly  when I am on the elevator for our apt. I normally take the stairs, but the mailbox is right next to our elevator and I know people give me strange looks like "lazy girl" when I take it for one flight.

    I am kind of a bag lady too, so when I'm off work, I have my laptop bag, my ginormous gym bag, my purse and my other bag where i keep my snacks and lunch container. There is no way I am carrying all of this to go out of my way to take the stairs after I get my mail.
