Things are not great between me and my MIL. I just found out from another relative that when asked a few months ago what she hoped for she said that she hopes that it is a boy because she will see it more. Then my relative said, "What if it is a red headed girl?" (BTW red hair runs in my family. I don't have red hair. My grandfather and nephew have red hair. And my nephews parents have black hair......weird how genetics work:) )

My MILs response was "THAT is what we DON'T want."

Ok, first off why does she think she is going to see it more if I have a boy? Second, why in the heck is she making a comment about red hair like that? I just want my baby to be healthy and come out with 10 fingers and 10 toes. I wouldn't care if my baby came out with purple hair. LOL anyway it just bothered me that she would make that comment when she should be concerned that the baby is healthy and there are no complications
