Really? Tanning bed when pg?

I just googled something, and the question after it was, "Is it safe to use a tanning bed when pregnant?"

Umm, duh!  Is it really ever safe to use a tanning bed?  Why in the world would you subject your unborn to any possible risk if you could avoid it?

People are so vain.  Ugh.

    it's terrible to even think of asking that question, but unfortunately, there will be women out there tanning and not thinking twice about it.  Unbelievable!

    Oh in my 1-2 tri with DD there was a girl who tanned while pregnant. She said her OB ok'd it!Indifferent

    Neudfroder was her name ..oh we got into in big time....She would post pics of herself with a big belly and super tan....IDIOT

    She disappeared after she had her baby

    I remember watching the reality show "Sunset Tan" on E, and a full term woman came in to tan because she didn't want to be too pale for delivery.  She didn't do spray tan.  She actually got in one of the beds.  I couldn't believe they would air that sh*t.
