Spinoff question--how are the blue dye innaccurate? Do they have a tendency toward false negatives or false postives? Or both? I know it gets brought up a lot, but I can't remember.
I've always used pink dye except for CBE brand, but I bought generic Walgreens digitals that were blue dye and I got negatives. Not that I think it matters right now, but I'll grasp at any straws I can find!

They are notorious for evap lines...and it is harder to tell the difference between a blue-gray evap line and a positive blue line. Digitals won't make a difference because they use a different measurement than non-digitals so there can be a second line even if it is negative.
