How many doublers (inserts)

Do you have? I don't really have any in my stash, other than the MF that come with BG's but I really want to order some all natural (hemp and cotton) ones from GMD. I am wondering how many I should order. I don't even know if I will need them but I figure better safe than sorry, what if my LO is a heavy wetter?

    The only ones I have are the BG ones that came with my diapers. I hardly use them except at night.  I think you can hold off on them until after LO gets here.  You will be changing every 2 hours anyway at first so you should be okay without them and then you can see what you need.  I mainly use hemp inserts instead of microfiber and they are super absorbent.

    I have WAY too many.  I rarely use them except for the hemp ones.  E is a heavy wetter, also.

    I have two small hemp doublers from GMD as well as two large stay-dry hemp inserts.  We use the small doublers a lot to add a boost overnight.  I have only just started using the large ones because they are enormous and didn't fit into any of her diapers until lately.  The stay-dry are also a particular pain in the butt to prep because you have to do hemp in the washer by itself and GMD advises against boiling them on account of the fleece on top. 

    You can totally wait on the doublers because it's highly unlikely you'll need them in the early days.  If you're just dying to buy some (and trust me, I understand), I'd get the smaller ones.  I'm sure you'll find use for them sometime.  I wouldn't buy a bunch all at once, though.
