Who told you to stick with those brands? If it was a plumber or something I'd probably listen, but if it was a sales person not so much.
lol my FIL
But in general I've heard Kohler and Delta are good :-) Honestly though we're clueless. Of course if we get the Fontaine now, Ryan is all like if it breaks I told you it wasn't a good idea. Stupid.
Abe and I bought an off-brand faucet for our kitchen and have been happy with it Of course, we've only been using it nine-ish months so I can't speak to it's longevity. Just look at it before you buy it (like, open up the box, make sure it feels solid, compare it to the name-brand ones) and if it's made solidly, I'd go for the less expensive one.
Re: Anyone heard of Fontaine faucets? sorry to be a PW
Never heard of them, but I like the style name.

Well, I wouldn't listen to anything MY FIL said.
Maybe yours is different though.
Maybe you could compromise and get the more expensive faucet, but do all the installation yourselves?
Too bad you don't have more time. Ryan can order Price Pfister faucets for 70% off retail because they're now owned by the company he works for.
I've never heard of Fontaine faucets, but our powder room faucet is an off-brand from Overstock and it's worked just fine for nearly 4 years.
oh well ***! haha! I just ordered ours early today! doh!
