Ergo carrier - reg vs. organic?

Is the extra cost worth it to get the organic? I just found a deal online where I could get the regular black/camel for $99.99 and the organic brown one for $119.99. The organic infant insert is also discounted so it's the same price as the reg. infant insert.

    I have owned the original and performance, but a good friend has the organic. The main difference I noticed right away was how soft it was, and she said it's more breathable than the original. Really, though, you can't go wrong with an Ergo!

    If I needed an Ergo now I'd get a performance. 

    But if it's just between those two I'd get the original.

    I think the main thing about the organic is that you are buying fabric that was never in contact with pesticides and is not treated with formaldehyde the way most commercial fabrics are.  If that is important to you, than yes the organic is worth it.  I have the organic myself and love it.
