Does Pelvic Rest Include Orgasms?

I had slt implantation bleeding and was put on pelvic rest for a week. I know NO vaginal sex but does that include orgasms?

My dreams have been so intense that I can't help but wake up having pleasurable contractions.  Sorry that was way TMI...yuck lol.

I know if I made out with my hubby after some of those dreams I'd def climax (I know, more TMI). I plan on calling the nurse Mon but thought I'd ask you ladies first.

    When my friend was on pelvic rest she got in trouble with her doctor for having an orgasm.  I'm pretty sure that is off limits.  Sorry :(

    I took it to mean that when I was on it. 16+ weeks of this pg.

    If you orgasm in your sleep there is nothing you can do about it. But I am pretty sure orgasms are off limits. Maybe give your Dr a call and let them know if it keeps happening.

    Thanks ladies, I was hoping that wasn't the case. Since I can't really help it in my sleep, I'll add that to the list of questions for the nurse. Maybe they'll proscribe some kind of sleep aid. 

    For those of you who have had pelvic rest longer than a couple weeks, I am proud of you! I know how difficult 1 week is, I can't i imagine anything longer.

    Of course if I was put on pelvic rest for the entire pregnancy I'd do anything for LO, but chocolate would become my replacement lol.

    yup its off limits sorry :(  i've been on pelvic rest pretty much most of my entire pregnancy!
    1 chemical and 1 loss at 9 weeks prior to DS
    IVF #1 1/10-transfered 2 blasts- DS born 10/2010

    Trying for # 2 since 2012.  2 failed FETS 1 failed IUI.
    IUI#2 4/14/14-- BFP !!!!! Beta #1 14dpiui= 45 Beta #2 16dpiui= 80  Beta #3 18dpiui= 88 (chemical pregnancy)
    March 2015- Chemical pg

    1/25/16- BFP  Beta1 12dpo = 17, Beta 2 14 dpo = 28.. resulted in one beautiful boy born 9/21/16 :)

    Now I'm a stay at home loving life and pursuing my love of photography!!!

    I'm having the same problem. It's involuntary and there isn't much you can do to stop it. The ute is swollen and sensitive, so you are more likely to have this happen.

    My doc said there is nothing to really prevent it and not to worry unless more bleeding happens.
