Anyone else doing a nautical themed nursery?

DH and I don't like the predominant themes for boy bedding (mostly animals, sports or cars) so we decided on doing a nautical nursery. I found a cute bedding set at Pottery Barn Kids and some really nice stuff for the walls on etsy. I can't wait to start on our LO's nursery now.

    We're doing a nautical theme too. It's so much fun getting the room all set up. We decided not to include the theme in the bedding so we got the rye collection bedding from serena and lily. The colors and design go with the room very nicely.

    We aren't quite doing a nautical theme but either an under the sea/little mermaid/finding nemo theme. and I cannot wait!

    We're not going to put so much stuff on the wall, so the focal point will be the bedding. It's very easy for this theme to get tacky really quickly if you go overboard. I guess that's true with all themes.

    Our theme is more beachy than nautical.  More seashells, sand, etc... I'm having a hard time picking out bedding...will probably just do a sand collored sheet and some sort of patterned bed skirt and bumper to match with the curtains we already have.

    I usually lurk, but I couldn't resist this one.  DH was in the Navy for years and my father's a ship captain, so it was a no-brainer.  I am trying not to go too far though.  We got the Nautica Quentin mobile and lamp, and I wouldn't mind getting the crib sheet.  But those will probably be the only themed items.

    Does anyone know where we can get a pink sailboat mobile?  We are having a girl and wanted to do something sailboat in her room b/c my husband is an avid sailer.  I can't find one anywhere!

    I agree... I had some great ideas for the fan  and walls, so I wanted to keep the theme out of the bedding. I didn't want to have anything too cartoony. I can't wait to see it all finished.
