How long did you wait until TTC after m/c?

I've heard that it's good to wait two cycles to give your body a chance to get back to normal, and I've also heard that sometimes if you get pg soon after mc you have more of a chance of mc again...

How long did you ladies wait? insight will be much appreciated...

    I waited 3 cycles per my doctor's orders. I'd suggest doing whatever your doctor said.

    My doctor said two cycles, so we sat out those two cycles. I recommend you follow your doctor's advice.
    BFP #1 9/23/09. Missed MC 10w3d D&C 11/3/09.

    BFP #2 4/13/10. Bridget born 12/28/10

    BFP #3 Finn born 8/11/15

    We followed the doctor's orders of 1 cycle.

    My OB said to wait two cycles, but the nurse practictioner at his office said as soon as I get my first period, I can go ahead and try...this is why I'm so confused.

    No offense to the NP, but I would go with the doctor's advice.

    When I went to my follow up after my MC, it had been about 4 wks and I had just had my 1st AF after the MC. My doc checked me out and sad everything was feeling normal and said it was a great sign I had already gotten AF. She said it was up to us when to try but 2 cycles is best.

    We seemed to have jumped the gun bc we just found out we are pregnant again and it had been 2 months since my MC only 1 cycle. I have heard you become super fertile after an MC, I believe it! My doc also said that waiting 2 cycles give you the emotional time you also may need to heal.

    Listen to your doctor and choose what is best for you. Your chance does not increase if you try right away, I already checked on that.

    Our ob told us 2full cycles after both m/c. Other than time for mental well being it was to make sure that all "products of conception" (i hate that term) are flushed out.

    It seems that each situation and each dr is different.  We waited one cycle with my natural m/c.

    We were told to wait two cycles and we decided to wait three because we just weren't ready yet.  We got a BFP after cycle number 3.  I would suggest doing what your DOCTOR said.

    My doc told us one cycle, but we waited 2 because emotionally, I wasn't ready yet.

    I listened to my dr.  He advised that we could try again right away and didn't have to wait.  I had suffered my loss at 11w and had a D&C.  We started trying again soon after and I became pregnant within weeks of the D&C.  I am now over 25 weeks and doing well.
