I asked this probably about 6 months ago when my inhome daycare was going to close on Mondays and Fridays, she decided to work with my schedule and everything has been going great. I was told today that she will not be renewing her license in Decemeber so I need to find a new place by then.
I'm looking for a daycare center or in home. My niece was currently going to the same place and I'd love for her to be able to stay with my kids. It would be for an almost 2 year old, 15 month old, and a 5 month old.
I'm a nurse so my schedule is really messed up. I only work 2-3 days a week and they are different every week. My kids would be there a max of 2 days, my niece would be there 5 days/week. I'd need someone who is really flexible with that. I also don't start work until 11 so I wouldn't be dropping them off until 9:30/10am.
Any suggestions? I've been looking up places online, but feel really weird calling random numbers. Plus I can't tell by the listing if it's in home or a daycare center. I plan on going for a drive today to see whats around me.
I really hate this and wish I could stay at home with them. It's so hard finding people you trust to take care of you kids.
Re: Daycare Recs Needed (Chesterfield, Macomb, Richmond, New Baltimore areas)
I'm right there with you, trying to find someone trustworthy to take care of my LO come the beginning of next year. I don't live on the east side, but do happen to know of an in-home day care in Chesterfield that I could recommend. This might sound weird, but it's my husband's ex-wife. She's a good mom, and a good caregiver to other people's children from what I've seen. She keeps her home very clean and is licensed by the state. The business name is Noah's Nook, ask for Debbie, and the phone number is (586) 598-4723. Good luck with your search.
