Anyone not go through 4mth wakeful period?

I don't remember this with DS#1! Don't know if I just blocked it out or he skipped it. But DS #2 is at 3.5 months and I'm dreading this! He already has cut his naps down to 45min but sleeps through the night. (though last night I did catch him playing in his crib at 4am when I looked at the monitor).

So is it possible to not experience this?? I like my full night sleep!

You know...I don't remember it happening with Kaitlyn. She didn't STTN until she was 8.5 months old though, but she has always been a good napper.

I went from having to wake them at 730am to getting up a couple times a night. But, I can't complain b/c I still get at least 7 hours of sleep usually.

No!! I haven't had it yet.. he is 4 1/2 months old and I keep reading everyone's post and hoping he's not late on it.. although he has been "early" on everything else. He's been sleeping through the night since 6 weeks (10-11 hours), so Its been a LONG time since I had to get up with him, I prayyyyyyyyyyy it's not all babies!

i didnt with dd1, but did with dd2 - but she didnt sttn 100% for a while so that was it i guess

DS has been STTN since he was 10 weeks. Last night he woke up crying at 4am, but he fell back asleep after sucking on dh's finger for a bit. But that's the closest we've come to the wakeful period. things could change, though.
