Induction scheduled :)

Just thought I'd give an update before I get busy doing last min stuff tomorrow.  Went to the OB today and we discussed inducing me on Thursday (39 weeks 2 days).  Good thing is that all of my liver values and such are coming back good with the preeclampsia diagnosis but my blood pressure easily hits 140/90.  So instead of waiting it out a bit more and waiting for something bad to happen, we're just going to deliver little one and be done with it.  Honestly I'll be happy to be done just because I'm not sleeping that great anyway, so I might as well be dealing with a newborn if I'm not sleeping that well and can hardly take a nap. 

From everything I've read, I'm actually a good candidate for induction at this point.  I'm 3.5 cm dilated, 80% effaced, and baby is in the -2 position.  With the preeclampsia it pushes the Bishop's score to a 9 which according to one chart there's a low risk of c-section at that point (less than 5% assuming no other complications arise).  We're starting cervadil in the morning on Thursday and then going from there. 

So if I'm not online for a while you'll know why.  Nicole will be posting updates when she gets them.  I'll try to message her on a reasonable basis but who knows how quick or slow things will take on my end so try to be patient. (Yeah, I know how that goes.)  After little one is born, we'll announce little one's name, since no one gets it before then except me and DH.  Hope everyone has a good weekend!
